What’s wrong with coughing up bloody phlegm in the throat?

If there is bloody sputum in the pharynx, the first thing you need to do is to find out the cause of the bleeding and the site of origin of the blood, which generally has three points: 1. the bleeding is caused by the rupture of mucous membrane in the nasal cavity and nasopharynx, and the backflow to the pharynx; 2. the bleeding is caused by chronic inflammation in the trachea and lungs, such as tuberculosis, pneumonia, and bronchial dilatation, and the patient coughs violently; 3. the bleeding is caused by the rupture of diffuse blood vessels in the mucous membrane of the pharynx. For bleeding, you need to go to the hospital to check laryngoscopy and rhinoscopy, and CT of the lungs to make a clear diagnosis. If there is simple bleeding in the nasal cavity, the nasal cavity can be stuffed. If the bleeding is obvious, laser or microwave coagulation can be used to stop the bleeding. If it is a lung infection, symptomatic anti-inflammatory treatment is needed; if it is a bleeding spot in the throat, local pressure bandaging can be applied to stop the bleeding.
