What’s wrong with the pain at the ShuiQuan point?

ShuiQuan point belongs to the foot-shaoyin kidney meridian, and pain at ShuiQuan point is often associated with kidney disease. It is not possible to determine what kind of disease a single symptom is, so patients should go to the hospital and take targeted treatment after identifying the disease in conjunction with other conditions in the body.
ShuiQuan point is located 1 inch straight down from TaiXi (at the midpoint of the line between the tip of the inner ankle and the Achilles tendon), and there is a sensation of soreness and swelling when pressed. ShuiQuan point is a Qie point of this meridian. Kidney is a water organ, and spring water mostly comes out from Qie, where the water fluid of kidney meridian gathers to form a pool of water, thus the name ShuiQuan.
ShuiQuan point has the function of regulating menstruation and blood circulation and facilitating urination, and it is mainly used for treating gynecological diseases such as irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, yin ting (prolapse of the uterus, detachment from the vagina, or bulging out of the vaginal wall), as well as dysuria, hematuria, etc. However, it should be treated by a professional.
However, the treatment should be carried out by professionals and should not be done by oneself.
