Ischemic-hypoxic coma may be caused by cardiac causes, cerebrovascular causes, and may be caused by hypoglycemia. 1. Cardiac causes: coma occurs due to the lack of oxygen in brain tissue as a result of a sudden decrease in cardiac output or cardiac arrest, which is mostly seen in arrhythmia, myocardial infarction, and so on. 2. Cerebrovascular causes: usually due to vertebral basilar artery blood supply obstacle, resulting in brain stem lesions or carotid artery blood supply obstacle, resulting in extensive cerebral cortex lesions, coma can occur. 3. Hypoglycemia: Hypoglycemia is too low, which affects the energy supply of brain tissues and its function, and can lead to coma. Patients with ischemic and hypoxic coma should go to hospital for rescue treatment in time.
