How often to change underwear

Women’s underwear is recommended to be changed and washed once a day. Women’s vulva collects the urethral opening, vaginal opening and anus, which is a bacterial environment. After a day of activity, the underwear will be stained with female vaginal secretions, urine stains and a little feces. If not changed and washed for a long time, it may lead to vulvodynia, vaginitis, and even retrograde infections such as pelvic inflammatory disease. Under normal circumstances, young healthy women have more vaginal secretions than older women, so older people can change their vagina once every 1-2 days. Women with vaginitis have more discharge and odor, so they need to be changed daily. When washing underwear, you should be careful to scald them with boiling water at intervals and dry them in the sun. In addition to daily changing of underwear, women should wash their vulva with water daily, but it is not recommended to douche the vagina as this may upset the balance of vaginal flora and lead to vaginitis. In addition, it is not recommended to use pads for a long time as they are not conducive to the ventilation of the vulva and can easily cause gynecological inflammation.
