Mycoplasma infections can present with nodular and sometimes interstitial changes in the lungs. In addition to glassy nodules and interstitial changes, patients may have cough, fever, headache, nausea, and mental atrophy; lung auscultation may be unremarkable, but sometimes dry or wet rales may be heard. Once the diagnosis of mycoplasma infection is confirmed, aggressive treatment is required. Commonly used clinical drugs are macrolide antibiotics and quinolone antibiotics, commonly used drugs include azithromycin, erythromycin, levofloxacin, moxifloxacin, etc. The anti-infection needs to be reviewed. If the patient’s nodules in the lungs are caused by mycoplasma infection, they can be completely cured with treatment.
