What causes kids to fart a lot?

Frequent farting in children may be caused by physiological reasons, indigestion, acute gastroenteritis, constipation and so on. 1. Physiological reasons: If a child eats too much, at a fast speed, or eats food that is easy to produce gas, a large amount of gas will be produced due to the fermentation of the food in the intestines or the swallowing of a large amount of air, resulting in frequent farting. 2. Indigestion: children’s digestive system is not fully developed, if they eat too much or eat too much greasy food, it may lead to indigestion, causing increased gas production in the intestines and increased abdominal pressure, resulting in frequent farting. 3. Acute gastroenteritis: If children eat unclean food, it may lead to acute gastroenteritis, causing intestinal flora disorders and frequent farting, accompanied by diarrhea, abdominal distension and other symptoms. 4. Constipation: When children are constipated for a long time, it will easily lead to feces in the bacterial fermentation to produce a lot of gas, causing frequent farting. After excluding the physiological causes of frequent farting, parents should bring their children to the hospital in time to improve the relevant examinations and to clarify the cause of the disease and then actively treat it.
