What is the numbness of the limbs in hemiplegia?

Hemiplegia and limb numbness are considered acute cerebrovascular diseases such as transient ischemic attack, cerebral hemorrhage or cerebral infarction if they appear suddenly. In transient ischemic attack, the symptoms recover completely within a few minutes or 1-2 hours without any residual neurological deficits. Cerebral infarction is caused by complete disruption of blood flow to the brain vessels resulting in ischemia, hypoxia, and necrosis of brain tissue, resulting in acute neurological deficits. Cerebral hemorrhage is caused by the sudden rupture of small blood vessels due to cerebral arteriosclerosis, resulting in hemiplegia and limb numbness due to compression of the patient’s brain nerves.
