Plantar fasciitis is caused by continuous stimulation of the plantar fascia, such as strenuous exercise and long walks, too much walking, resulting in the formation of a sterile inflammatory lesion of the plantar fascia, which also stimulates the peripheral nerves and causes pain; and further activity will lead to further stimulation of the plantar fascia, resulting in increased pain. 3. The skin at the location of dermatitis, such as hard soles, too much walking, too much friction resulting in continuous skin irritation, and the formation of skin inflammation, when touched with the hand and walking will also have a significant pain sensation.
