Left ventricular hypervoltage is a result of electrocardiography, which can be seen in normal people, and may be caused by hypertensive heart disease and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
1. Physiological factors: long and thin normal people, especially young people with weak chest wall, and some people with high intensity physical exercise, will have physiological left ventricular high voltage, which is normal phenomenon.
2. Hypertensive heart disease: high blood pressure can lead to increased left ventricular afterload, long-term hypertensive patients will have compensatory hypertrophy of the left ventricle, electrocardiogram will have left ventricular high voltage.
3. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy: This disease is characterized by myocardial hypertrophy, and left ventricular hypertrophy leads to left ventricular high voltage on ECG.
After eliminating physiological factors, if the left ventricular high voltage is still present on the ECG, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time to find out the cause and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
