The nine-valent vaccine protects against cervical cancer, condyloma acuminatum, vaginal cancer, anal cancer and other diseases. Nine-valent vaccine refers to a vaccine that can prevent nine HPV types, including HPV types 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52 and 58. Proper vaccination with this vaccine not only prevents cervical cancer, but also reduces vulvar cancer, vaginal cancer, anal cancer, genital warts, and precancerous cervical lesions caused by HPV infection. The nine-valent vaccine is recommended for people between the ages of 16 and 26, but for women who are sexually active, it is recommended that they undergo cervical liquid-based cytology and human papillomavirus testing first to make sure that there are no abnormalities before they can be vaccinated. Vaccination with the nine-valent vaccine is a primary preventive measure, and women are still recommended to undergo annual cervical cancer screening after vaccination.
