How to deal with bruises on the body

After being bruised on the body, it is important to determine, whether there is local soft tissue damage, or if it is accompanied by a fracture. If there is pain on the left side of the ribs, or on the right side of the ribs, there is a possibility of liver rupture, or spleen rupture. Further examination at the hospital is required. If there is a fracture, or if there is bleeding from a substantial organ in the abdominal cavity, prompt treatment is required. If there is only a subcutaneous soft tissue injury with bruising, cold compresses with ice can be applied in the early stages to reduce bleeding as well as to reduce the exudation of surrounding tissue fluid. If after 1-2 days, because the tissue fluid exudation has ended, then the local bruising will be manifested as bruising, it is necessary to apply hot compresses locally, that is, using hot towels, or soaking in a hot bath, both of which can be used, in order to accelerate the blood circulation of the subcutaneous tissue and further eliminate the bruising.
