A hard lump on the upper right breast needs further examination by color ultrasound or mammography for a variety of reasons, including benign diseases and malignant tumors of the breast. Malignant tumors tend to occur in the upper outer quadrant of the right breast and may present as a hard lump with irregular margins and even tenderness, and some patients may present with nipple blood spilling and axillary lymph node metastasis. The causes of malignant lesions are related to the changes of hormone levels in the body, in addition to the obvious family genetic predisposition, but also related to the acquired environmental factors, such as the age of menarche, the number of pregnancies, or the usual lifestyle, dietary structure and so on. After the diagnosis of breast malignant tumor, surgery should be chosen in time to remove the tumor, and after the surgery, many patients also need to carry out auxiliary radiotherapy, chemotherapy, endocrine therapy and so on.
