Comparison of DIEP, free TRAM and tipped TRAM: DIEP has the least damage to the abdominal wall, but it requires microsurgical techniques, the operation time is long, usually takes 7-8 hours, if once necrosis of the flap occurs it is a complete necrosis, the blood supply of the flap is better than that of tipped TRAM but not as good as that of free TRAM. Not all patients are suitable for DIEP, and the decision needs to be based on intraoperative observation of vascular perforation status. The damage to the abdominal wall of free TRAM is smaller than that of tipped TRAM, but larger than that of DIEP. It requires microsurgical skills, the operation time is longer, usually takes 7-8 hours, if once the flap necrosis occurs it is complete necrosis, the flap blood supply is the best. The operation time of TRAM with tip is the shortest, only need more than 3 hours, if the flap blood supply obstacle occurs, it is mostly partial necrosis, not complete necrosis, the blood supply of the flap is not as good as that of DIEP and free TRAM. the damage to the abdominal wall is the biggest, but it will not have serious impact on daily work and life.
