Whether male or female, there are standards for measuring blood pressure. The first time the blood pressure is measured, the blood pressure on both sides should be measured, both the left side and the right side, generally speaking, the blood pressure on the right side will be higher, generally the right side is 5-10 mmHg higher than the left side, usually not more than 10-20 mmHg above. The main reason why this is the case is that after the right subclavian artery is divided into the brachial artery, the blood pressure measured is the blood pressure of the brachial artery. The blood pressure on the right side of the head and arm stem is closer to the aorta, while the blood pressure on the left side is from the left subclavian artery to the left brachial artery, which is farther from the root of the aorta, so the blood pressure on the right side will be higher than that on the left side. After measuring the high blood pressure on the right side, basically the blood pressure of the higher one is measured.
