Gas poisoning refers to carbon monoxide poisoning, carbon monoxide poisoning is a poisoning caused by inhaling the product through the respiratory tract when the carbon containing material is not burned sufficiently and burned incompletely. The mechanism of poisoning is that the affinity of carbon monoxide and hemoglobin is 200-300 times higher than that of oxygen and hemoglobin, so carbon monoxide easily combines with hemoglobin to form carbon-oxygen hemoglobin, resulting in the loss of hemoglobin’s ability to carry oxygen and the role of the hemoglobin, thus causing asphyxia. Patients will have toxic effects on the whole body tissues, especially there will be hypoxia or lack of oxygen in the brain as the most typical clinical symptoms and manifestations, in the case of gas poisoning, due to carbon monoxide overdose, the patient will have different degrees of dizziness, headache, vertigo, dyspnea after exertion, sometimes accompanied by cherry-red lips and nausea, vomiting, and even the loss of consciousness of the symptom.
