What are the clinical manifestations of SLE?

            Systemic lupus erythematosus is an autoimmune disease that causes multi-organ, multi-system, and multiple autoantibodies. It predominates in women of childbearing age. The clinical manifestations are prevalent in the skin and mucous membranes, with erythema, blistering, ulceration, and milia. Typical manifestations include erythema pteronyx, erythema discoideum, photosensitivity, Raynaud’s disease, alopecia, and oral ulcers. Pleurisy, pericarditis, pneumoperitoneum, increased urine protein and swelling, pericarditis and endocarditis, abdominal discomfort, seizures, mental disorders and other neurological symptoms, as well as blood cell abnormalities and other organ damage may also occur. Patients with these symptoms should be treated as soon as possible.
