What is endoscopy?

Endoscopes are divided into industrial and medical endoscopes, and are divided into hard and soft scopes according to their softness. Endoscopy generally refers to medical endoscopy. Endoscopy is not only gastroscopy and colonoscopy, it also includes bronchoscopy, colposcopy, nasopharyngoscopy, laryngoscopy, cystoscopy and so on. It is mostly a soft scope that can be turned, abducted, and twisted, so it is a better way to get to the inside of the organ and look directly at it to see where the lesion is and how big it is. Many endoscopes have a biopsy orifice that can be used to take pathological tissue for biopsy, which can lead to early detection of early diagnosis, which is what endoscopy is.
