What to do if your baby’s feet are peeling

Peeling skin on baby’s feet may be caused by tinea pedis, exfoliative keratolysis, eczema and other causes. Fungal infections can be treated with antifungal drugs, exfoliative keratolysis can be treated with urea ointment, vitamin E ointment and other medications, and eczema can be treated with Denadyl cream, tacrolimus ointment and other medications.
1. Tinea pedis: Generally, fungal infection will invade the cuticle of the epidermis of the feet, resulting in symptoms such as peeling, erosion, itching and blisters. If the fungal test is positive, it indicates the presence of fungal infection, which can be treated with antifungal drugs, such as terbinafine hydrochloride cream, ketoconazole cream.
2. Exfoliative Keratolysis: usually occurs on the soles of the feet, palms of the hands, the skin will appear collar-like peeling and other symptoms, can be treated with urea ointment, vitamin E ointment and other drugs.
3. Eczema: usually related to genetics, environment, diet and other factors, common symptoms include pimples, blisters, vesicles, oozing, peeling, etc., and can be treated with Denadyl cream, tacrolimus ointment and other drugs.
All of the above drugs need to be used under the guidance of a doctor, parents are advised to bring their babies to the hospital in time, not blindly use drugs to avoid delaying the condition.
