What are the risks of anal fistula to the human body

Once the fistula is formed, there is very little chance of self-healing, and if the treatment is not timely, repeated attacks can easily lead to fistula complications, bringing many problems and certain harm. The pus overflows and pollutes your clothes; the local skin is often stimulated, leading to eczema, itching and pain, affecting work, study and life; repeated attacks can lead to physical weakness and weight loss, mental discomfort, and reduced resistance to disease, thus making attacks more frequent and forming a vicious circle. As a result of repeated attacks, the pus can penetrate the wall and spread along the sphincter to form a branch, resulting in a complex anal fistula, which not only makes treatment difficult, but also affects the normal physiological function of the anus. The repeated attacks of anal fistula can form rectovaginal fistula, recto-urethral fistula and recto-vesical fistula, which endanger the surrounding organs. Moreover, fistulas have a tendency to become malignant. The actual fact is that you should go to a regular hospital to receive treatment once you have an anal fistula, so as not to delay the condition and cause adverse consequences.
