How to treat pharyngeal conjunctival fever

Pharyngeal conjunctival fever is often caused by viral infection and usually occurs in children or young adults. The main symptom is sore throat and general weakness, followed by red eyes and tearing. There is no specific medicine for this disease, it is a self-limiting disease, and clinical treatment is mostly supportive. If the patient’s blood leukocytes are elevated, antibiotics such as cefdinir dispersible tablets or cefdinir capsules can be applied appropriately. If the patient’s body temperature is greater than 38℃, the fever should be actively reduced and oral ibuprofen capsules or ibuprofen suspension can be administered, and rehydration and nutritional support therapy are needed if necessary. If the patient’s eyes are particularly dry, they can be treated with vitreous acid sodium drops, but try not to use hormonal drugs. After active treatment the patient’s condition should improve significantly and heal in 10 days.
