Fetal movement is the movement of the fetus, which is categorized into physiological causes and pathological causes, and pathological causes include intrauterine hypoxia and fetal malposition.
Fetal movement refers to the activity of the fetus in the uterus impact to the uterine wall action, normal fetal movement of not less than 3~5 times an hour. Physiological reasons include the increase of blood sugar level in pregnant women’s body after eating, so the fetus obtains energy, thus frequent fetal movement. In addition, the pregnant woman’s emotions are too excited or frequent stroking of the stomach will stimulate the fetus, thus showing fetal movement.
Pathological causes include intrauterine hypoxia, which causes the fetus to move very frequently, and fetal malposition, which causes the fetus to become emotionally stressed, resulting in frequent fetal movements.
If the fetus moves frequently, you should go to the hospital immediately and complete the relevant examinations as soon as possible, such as fetal electrocardiography, ultrasound and so on.
