What is the normal range for progesterone in pregnancy

There is no exact standard for the range of normal values of progesterone in a woman’s body after pregnancy, as it varies slightly at different stages of pregnancy.
Progesterone, also known as luteinizing hormone, is a steroid hormone whose concentration is closely related to the growth and degeneration of the corpus luteum. Especially for women who are pregnant, the corpus luteum is affected by human chorionic gonadotropin, so it will continue to secrete progesterone, which in turn maintains the pregnancy and facilitates the development of the fetus.
The value of progesterone will gradually increase after pregnancy, generally 20-42ng/ml in early pregnancy, 42-120ng/ml in mid-pregnancy, and 120-240ng/ml in late pregnancy.
Regular checkups are needed during pregnancy, and the development of the embryo cannot be judged by a single progesterone, but needs to be analyzed comprehensively.
