Is a 7mm appendix appendicitis?

A 7mm appendix is not necessarily appendicitis. Normally, the appendix should be less than or equal to 6mm in diameter, but if the appendix is 6-7mm in diameter or equal to 7mm, it is impossible to accurately determine if it is appendicitis. If it is related to appendicitis, there will be obvious oozing of the appendix with fat swelling and blurring around it by CT examination, and fecal stone obstruction will be found by X-ray. There will be significant popping pain on pressure on the abdomen, and when an abscess is formed, a mass will be palpable in the abdomen. On routine blood tests, most patients with acute appendicitis will have an increased white blood cell count and increased neutrophil percentage. If appendicitis is only suspected at present, you should consult a doctor in time and standardize the treatment under the guidance of a professional doctor, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
