How to increase basal metabolic rate

Basal metabolic rate (BMR) is the rate of energy metabolism for basic physiological activities. Hypothyroidism, or hypothyroidism, has a low BMR due to insufficient thyroid hormones, which can be increased by medication. Hypothyroidism is an endocrine disease caused by insufficient synthesis, secretion or effect of thyroid hormones. It can present with manifestations of low basal metabolic rate syndrome, such as fatigue, slowness of movement, lethargy, memory loss, lack of concentration, fear of cold, and absence of sweating. Most hypothyroidism requires lifelong replacement therapy with levothyroxine sodium tablets to improve low metabolism. Patients with hypothyroidism should also ensure that their diets are nutritionally adequate, comprehensive and balanced, eat some crude fiber foods in moderation, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, and pay attention to low-fat diets if their blood lipids are elevated. For patients with hypothyroidism, it is recommended to go to the hospital for consultation and treatment under the guidance of the doctor.
