Citrus aurantium is the dried, unripe fruit of the lime plant in the Brassicaceae family, and there is no clear current evidence that Citrus aurantium reduces breast milk. This flavor of Citrus aurantium is pungent, bitter, sour, slightly cold in nature, and goes to the spleen and stomach meridians. It has the effects of regulating qi and broadening the center (regulating the qi of the spleen and stomach), moving stagnation and eliminating flatulence. Clinically, it can be used to treat stagnation of qi in the chest and ribs (a collective term for the chest and rib area), distension and pain, food accumulation (food that is indigested and stagnates in the stomach) that is not transformed, and prolapse of the organs. There is no authoritative information to prove that Hovenia dulcis will reduce breast milk, and the relationship between Hovenia dulcis and breast milk has yet to be proven. Note that Hovenia dulcis, a traditional Chinese medicine, has unclear adverse effects when used, and is contraindicated for use in pregnant women. If there is a decrease in breast milk after the use of Hovenia, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time to clarify the specific cause, and under the guidance of the doctor to take appropriate methods of treatment to promote symptomatic relief.
