Efficacy and side effects of eplazole enteric-coated tablets

Eprazole enteric-coated tablets have the effect of inhibiting gastric acid secretion. Side effects include diarrhea, dizziness and headache. Epprazole belongs to the irreversible proton pump inhibitor, after oral administration, it selectively enters into the cells of gastric wall, converted into the active metabolite of hyposulphonamide, and interacts with the sulfhydryl group on the H+, K+-ATPase to form the covalent bond of disulfide bond, irreversibly inhibit the H+, K+-ATPase, and inhibit the secretion of gastric acid. Side effects of the drug include: ① common diarrhea, dizziness, headache, serum aminotransferase elevation; ② rare low back pain, abdominal distension, dry mouth and bitterness, chest tightness, prolongation of menstruation, renal function abnormality, electrocardiogram abnormality, leukopenia and other symptoms. Note: patients allergic to epprazole and other benzimidazole compounds are prohibited, patients with hepatic and renal insufficiency are prohibited, pregnant women and lactating women are not recommended, infants and young children are prohibited, elderly patients should be used with caution.
