What is a vaginal exam

Vaginal examination items include vulvar development, vagina, cervix, uterine body, bilateral fallopian tubes and ovaries. They are as follows: 1. Vulva: development, pubic hair, deformity, color, presence of redness, tumor, rash, lesions, hymen status. 2. Vagina: patency, mucosal condition, amount, color, odor, sex of discharge, presence of redundancy, mediastinum, presence of nodules in the vaginal vault. 3. Cervix: position, hardness, size, erosion pattern and degree, presence of tearing, ectropion and redundancy, glandular cysts, polyps, painful lifting, contact bleeding, white spots. 4, The uterus: location, size, hardness and softness, mobility and pressure pain. 5. Adnexa: presence or absence of pressure pain, thickening and its degree. If there is a mass, describe the size, softness, mobility, surface smoothness and relationship with the uterus.
