Childbirth is the process from conception to the maturation of the embryo to the delivery of the fetus, and the process can be a natural vaginal delivery or a cesarean section. 1. Normal delivery: If the fetus is well developed and not too large, and the mother’s pelvis is in good condition and the fetus is able to enter the pelvis, natural delivery is chosen. The fetus descends into the pelvis through articulation, and is then delivered smoothly through a series of movements such as flexion, internal rotation, supination, reset and external rotation, the process of which is closely related to the force of labor, birth canal and fetus, as well as psychosocial factors. 2. Cesarean section: Cesarean section is chosen for those whose fetus is too large to pass through the pelvis, or whose pelvis is too flat, or whose fetus or mother is not well enough to support the process of labor.
