What does Alzheimer’s disease look like

Alzheimer’s disease, also known as Alzheimer’s disease, is a primary degenerative encephalopathy, i.e., impairment in memory, thinking, analytical judgment, visual-spatial recognition, and emotion in the absence of impaired consciousness. China will soon enter an aging society, and the trend of aging has increased the number of Alzheimer’s patients. Dementia is no longer the preserve of the elderly, but the number of people with dementia in their 40s and 50s is increasing year by year.
The first sign of dementia is memory loss. As you enter middle age, see if you are forgetting things lately. If you only forget occasionally but can slowly recall afterwards, this is normal. However, if you often forget things, and some things are forgotten even after you deliberately try to remember them, and you can’t remember them afterwards, and it even affects your work and life, it’s best to go to the hospital for a checkup. If you find several of the following ten warning signs, you may be suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and should be screened by a specialist as soon as possible.
1.Easy to forget the recent events, affecting the ability to work
  2. Difficulty in performing familiar tasks
3.Difficulty in expressing or understanding language
  4. Confusion about time, location and people
  5.Decreased judgment
  6. Difficulty in thinking/calculating
  7.Leave things lying around
  8.Mood/behavior becomes unpredictable
  9.Change in personality
  10.Loss of initiative
  Prevention of Alzheimer’s disease
As the causes of dementia are different, the prevention methods are also different, mainly in the following aspects.
  1.Improve the working environment.
  2.Avoid alcohol and quit smoking.
3, diet regulation: both to prevent high-fat food and to take in the necessary nutrients, such as protein, inorganic salts, amino acids and a variety of vitamins, especially vitamin B1, B2 and B6, vitamin C and vitamin E is very important for the elderly.
4.Keeping a happy spirit is good for longevity and mental health.
5.To arrange life and study: In old age, you should also insist on learning new knowledge and keep extensive contact with society.
6.Before leaving retirement, be mentally and materially prepared for a rich life, a wide range of interests and hobbies, which can promote brain activity and also slow down or reduce the aging process.
7, regular physical examination, early treatment of somatic diseases, to their own body both to pay attention to, but not overly attention or worry.
8, regular outdoor activities: the elderly are suitable for more sustained and relaxed exercise programs, such as walking, jogging, gymnastics, taijiquan, taiji sword and traditional dance, etc.
A recent study by U.S. researchers shows that eating more apples, bananas and oranges can help reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease.
Alzheimer’s disease is treated with symptomatic medications such as acetylcholinesterase (AchE) and anti-immune inflammatory and antioxidant drugs to temporarily alleviate cognitive decline.
Familiarity with the symptoms of early Alzheimer’s disease, early medical consultation and early treatment can improve the symptoms and slow down the progression of the disease. World Alzheimer’s Awareness Day is celebrated on September 21 every year.
DDD is the day to be aware of dementia.
