Paroxysmal sympathetic hyperexcitability may be caused by exercise and emotional excitement, mental disorders, taking certain medications and so on.
1. Exercise and emotional excitement: people will be very agitated after exercise and when they are emotionally excited, which often causes paroxysmal hyperexcitability of the sympathetic nerves. This occurs in the normal physiological state, and generally does not require special treatment and can be self-cured after adjustment.
2. Psychiatric disorders: When patients suffer from certain psychiatric disorders, such as anxiety disorders, there may be signs of autonomic dysfunction and paroxysmal sympathetic hyperexcitability. This type needs to treat the mental disorder first, and will improve after the mental disorder is under control.
3. Taking certain medications: adrenal hormones can cause palpitations, anxiety and other symptoms of sympathetic over-excitement, which usually occurs after taking the medication, and the symptoms will disappear after stopping the medication for a period of time.
