For colorectal polyps, minimally invasive endoscopic treatment is less invasive, less painful for patients, and less expensive. Treatment methods are related to the size and nature of polyps and their shapes: 1. For smaller polyps, such as those <5mm, they can be removed with biopsy forceps; 2. For polyps >5mm, high-frequency electrocoagulation resection can be used, which is the same as gastric polyp removal, by using high-frequency electric knife for electrocoagulation and hemostasis to remove polyps; 3. For larger polyps, different methods should be used, such as flat lateral development polyps >2cm, need to take EMR or ESD treatment; 4. For larger polyps, surgical procedures can be considered in case of endoscopic treatment difficulties, and intestinal segment resection or local polypectomy can be performed.
