Neocoronavirus vaccines from Beijing Kexing and Anhui Zhifei are usually not mixed, which may result in poor vaccine efficacy or severe adverse reactions. The vaccine produced by Beijing Kexing is an inactivated vaccine, which is produced by inactivating the virus and adding an adjuvant to the vaccine. The vaccine produced by Anhui Zhifei is a recombinant protein subunit vaccine, which is obtained by recombining part of the virus surface protein into CHO cells. The two vaccines have different principles of action and different vaccination programs. The base program for inactivated vaccine is 2 doses, and the base program for subunit vaccine is 3 doses. Mixing of the two types of new crown vaccines is usually not recommended for basic immunization to avoid poor immunization and worsening of adverse reactions.
