The discoid meniscus of the knee, also known as discoid cartilage, is a meniscal malformation lesion. The lateral meniscus is more commonly seen. The normal meniscus is crescent-shaped, while the discoid meniscus is disk-shaped, with poorer blood flow to its medial portion and poorer ability to repair itself, making it more prone to injury. For disc meniscus injuries, we often perform minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery to perform disc meniscoplasty. Yesterday, we performed a case of disc meniscus surgery. This patient is a middle-aged female with a right knee that has been popping, strangulating and painful for 1 year. Magnetic resonance examination suggested disc meniscus of the right knee and injury. Arthroscopic exploration was performed. Injured disc meniscus
