People with mild anemia should find out the cause of anemia, and according to the cause, dietary modification, medication, surgical treatment, etc. The most common causes of anemia are iron deficiency anemia, hemolytic anemia, and megaloblastic anemia.
1. Iron deficiency anemia, is the most common type of anemia. The main causes of iron deficiency anemia in adults are excessive menstruation, chronic gastritis, gastrointestinal ulcers, pregnancy, and the rest of the causes are partial intestinal resections, malignant tumors, hemorrhoids, connective tissue lesions, and dieting.
Treatment mainly includes taking iron supplements (polysaccharide iron complex, etc.), dietary modification (increase iron intake, such as eating more green vegetables and animal liver, etc.), and symptomatic treatment of the cause.
2. Hemolytic anemia: anemia that occurs when red blood cell destruction is too rapid and bone marrow hematopoietic function is insufficiently compensated.
The cause should be eliminated and the primary disease should be actively treated. Symptomatic treatment: supplementation of hematopoietic raw materials (folic acid), adrenocorticotropic hormone, splenectomy, immunosuppressant (e.g., methotrexate), blood transfusion, etc. to relieve anemia.
3. Megaloblastic anemia: it is mainly caused by the lack of folic acid and/or vitamin B12 in the body, corresponding measures should be taken according to different causes, such as changing unreasonable dietary structure or cooking style, treating the primary disease thoroughly, stopping the drugs caused by drug application, etc. Meanwhile, supplementing folic acid and vitamin B12, and eating more meat and fresh green leafy vegetables in diet.
If anemia is found, it should be treated after further perfect examination to find out the cause of anemia. All the above drugs should be used under the guidance of a doctor.
