Whether myopia can be restored is related to the type of myopia. Generally, pseudomyopia can be restored, while true myopia cannot be restored to normal at present.
1. Pseudomyopia: Pseudomyopia occurs in children and adolescents, because excessive visual fatigue can cause ciliary muscle spasm, thus causing pseudomyopia. Children need to develop good eye habits, avoid eye fatigue, pay attention to eye rest and look into the distance, in order to release ciliary muscle spasm and restore the state of orthopia.
2. True myopia: At present, true myopia cannot be restored, because true myopia is usually accompanied by ocular anatomical changes such as lengthening of the eye axis, which is irreversible. Myopia can lead to vision loss, patients can wear appropriate glasses or refractive surgery to correct myopia and improve vision, such as crystalline lens implantation.
Myopia patients are advised to visit the hospital in time to assess their condition and under the guidance of the doctor.
