Diarrhea leads to dehydration, how to treat it

(2) Isotonic dehydration: oral rehydration solution for mild cases, and intravenous isotonic solution, such as 0.9% sodium chloride solution, for moderate and severe dehydration.
(3) Hypertonic dehydration: oral rehydration solution should be taken orally as much as possible, and those who can’t take oral rehydration solution can be given 5% dextrose or hypotonic saline solution intravenously.
2. Causal treatment: Infectious diarrhea can be controlled by using norfloxacin, levofloxacin and sulfamethoxazole as prescribed by the doctor. In addition, it can also be used with antidiarrheal drugs, such as montelukast, difenocoumarol, loperamide and so on, to relieve the discomfort.
