Gastroesophageal reflux in babies is mostly a physiologic phenomenon, such as after breastfeeding. Pathologic conditions are less common and are often associated with aspiration pneumonia. Symptoms are broadly categorized into those caused by reflux itself, those caused by irritation of the esophagus by the refluxed material, and those caused by irritation outside the esophagus. Treatment varies depending on the cause of the disease and includes general treatment, medication, and surgery if necessary. 1. (2) Drug treatment: take acid-suppressing drugs (such as cimetidine, etc.) and gastrointestinal stimulants (such as domperidone suspension) under the guidance of a specialized doctor. (3) Surgical treatment for conditions that cannot be treated with medication under the advice of a doctor. Babies with gastroesophageal reflux (GERD) should seek prompt medical attention and take appropriate treatment under the guidance of a professional doctor, so as to avoid aggravation of the condition as soon as possible.
