Contraindications to barium x-ray

Contraindications to barium X-ray examination are as follows: 1, gastrointestinal perforation; 2, gastrointestinal obstruction, especially intestinal obstruction, is prohibited; 3, acute bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract, such as esophageal hemorrhage caused by rupture of esophageal varices or acute hemorrhage caused by peptic ulcer, bleeding time within 1 week should be prohibited barium X-ray examination; 4, gastrointestinal fistula, such as esophageal bronchial fistula, anastomotic fistula; 5, acute gastroenteritis; 6, elderly and frail patients, poor general condition and can not cooperate; 7, anticholinergic drugs have contraindications, such as glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy.
