If lipomas are increasing in number, patients are recommended to have surgery to remove them. Clinically, lipomas are neoplasms of normal adipose tissue, usually found in the limbs and trunk of the body. Generally, lipomas are painless and grow very slowly, but large lipomas and deep lipomas have the potential to become malignant. If the patient has more and more lipomas, it is considered as multiple lipomas, which are usually small and symmetrical and have a family history, and can occasionally be painful, called painful lipomas. It is recommended that surgery be performed in a timely manner to prevent the lipoma from growing more and more and bringing unnecessary trouble to the patient’s daily life and work.
