Mouth ulcers recover in about a few days

Mouth ulcers usually take about 7 to 14 days to recover, depending on the type of ulcer as well. Mouth ulcers are categorized into mild aphthous ulcers, heavy aphthous ulcers, and stomatitis-type aphthous ulcers.
1. Mild aphthous ulcers: also known as mild recurrent aphthous ulcers. The number of ulcers is around 3 to 5, scattered distribution. They occur on the lips, tongue, cheeks and other mucous membranes. The ulcers heal in about 10 to 14 days and leave no scarring in the prognosis.
2. Heavy aphthous ulcers: also known as heavy aphthous ulcers. The number of ulcers is around 1~2, preferably at the corners of the mouth, with a long duration of illness, usually recovering in 1~2 months or longer.
3. Stomatitis-type aphthous ulcers: also known as herpes-like recurrent aphthous ulcers. The number of ulcers is large, up to a dozen or dozens. They occur on the hard palate and usually heal in about 1 to 2 weeks.
Suffering from aphthous ulcers is recommended to go to the stomatology department for examination and choose the appropriate treatment plan according to the condition. Usually eat more vegetables and fruits, more exercise.
