What Causes Sweaty Hair

Excessive sweating may be caused by physiological factors such as heredity, or by diseases such as hirsutism and polycystic ovary syndrome. 1. Physiological factors: If the parents’ sweat is more vigorous, the chances of the next generation being hairy will increase. 2. Hirsutism: the cause of the disease may be related to factors such as increased androgen levels, genetic hereditary diseases and external stimuli. It is mainly manifested by more and longer hairs than normal on the local or whole body. 3. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: the cause of the disease is not clear, and may be related to genetic and environmental factors. Patients will have symptoms such as menstrual disorders and hirsutism. If there is a situation of sweaty hair, after excluding physiological factors, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital for consultation and examination, to clarify the cause of the disease and standardize the treatment.
