How to treat big pimples

Large pimples, or acne, is a common chronic inflammatory disease of the sebaceous glands of the hair follicles, and the treatments include general treatment, medication, and physical therapy.
1. General treatment: Acne patients should pay attention to the cleanliness of the lesion area to reduce the adherence of oil and grease, clogging pores, avoid squeezing acne with hands, avoid spicy and irritating foods as much as possible, and avoid staying up all night.
2. Medication: Patients with acne, not accompanied by obvious inflammation or infection, can use local topical medication alone, such as retinoids such as adapalene gel, topical anti-infective drugs such as fusidic acid cream. For moderate to severe patients with obvious infections, oral antibacterial drugs such as doxycycline are recommended.
3. Physical therapy: For acne patients who cannot tolerate medication, physical therapy can be considered. Commonly used methods include photodynamic therapy and laser therapy.
Acne patients are advised to go to the hospital in time for treatment under the guidance of the doctor. The above medication should be used in accordance with the doctor’s instructions, do not self-medicate.
