Efficacy and Side Effects of Nifedar Nifedipine Extended-Release Tablets

Nifty is the trade name of the drug, generic name nifedipine extended-release tablets (II) , which has the effect of lowering blood pressure, and side effects such as redness and swelling of the lower extremities.
Nifedipine Extended-Release Tablets(Ⅱ) can dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure, and also inhibit myocardial contraction and relieve angina pectoris, which is suitable for chronic stable angina pectoris (exertional angina), vasospastic angina pectoris (Prinzmetal’s angina, variant angina), and the treatment of primary hypertension.
Adverse reactions to nifedipine extended-release tablets (II) are redness and swelling of the upper and lower extremities, such as swelling of the ankles, feet, and calves, as well as possible discomfort such as chest pain, headache, flushing with a sensation of warmth, dizziness, and palpitations (a rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic). Occasional adverse reactions such as abdominal pain, nausea, loss of appetite and constipation. It should be contraindicated in pregnant women and children.
