Compared to 64-row spiral CT, 16-row CT has a relatively slower scanning speed, a relatively lower spherical tube quality, i.e. anode heat capacity, and a relatively lower resolution. Here the three relative are compared with 64-row CT, the overall performance of 16-row CT is backward than 64-row CT. However, with the advancement of technology and the continuous improvement of various equipment manufacturers, the original technology used only in 64-row CT, such as iterative algorithms, is now also commonly used in 16-row CT machines, which can greatly reduce the radiation dose, but also greatly improve the resolution of the image. In addition, the quality of the 16-row CT’s bulb tube, that is, the bulb tube anode heat capacity is generally improved, avoiding the situation of stopping in the middle of the examination. Therefore, 16-row spiral CT in addition to the application of the cardiovascular examination is poor, fully able to meet the clinical requirements in other systems of CT examination, will not affect most of the lesions, and the price of 16-row CT machine than the 64-row CT is almost half lower than the popularization of grass-roots CT is more conducive to the popularity of the CT. Therefore, this relatively backward model is both economical and practical, and the cost performance is relatively high.
