Effects of Cordova

Cordova is the trade name and its generic name is Doxazosin Mesylate Extended-Release Tablets. The drug inhibits sympathetic alpha 1 receptors, which inhibits peripheral vasoconstriction and prostate contraction, and is used to treat hypertension and symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia. Adverse effects such as fatigue, myalgia, chest pain, cystitis, urinary incontinence, pruritus, peripheral edema, and postural hypotension may occur after administration.
