Radix Rehmanniae Efficacy and Indications

The herb “Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata” (熟地), known as “Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata” (熟地黄), is used to nourish blood and nourish yin, and to benefit the essence and marrow (to replenish the body’s essence and promote the development of the bone marrow).
Rehmannia glutinosa can nourish the blood and nourish deficiency, and is used in the treatment of blood deficiency, including dizziness, palpitations, insomnia, irregular menstruation, palpitations and palpitations with anxiety (intense heartbeat and panic), pale claws and nails, pale tongue, thin white moss, and weak pulse.

In addition, charcoal of Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata has the efficacy and effect of stopping bleeding, and can be used to treat blood deficiency and bleeding conditions such as metrorrhagia (excessive menstrual flow or dribbling).
The adverse effects of Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata have not been clarified, but the sticky nature of this product makes it contraindicated for those with stagnation of qi and phlegm, distension and pain in the epigastrium (abdomen), and loose stools with little food, and if there is any discomfort, the drug should be used under the guidance of a physician.
