Why does the lower tooth hurt when the upper tooth is extracted?

Lower tooth pain occurs when the upper tooth is extracted because of the radioactive pain in the wound area, and the pain sometimes radiates to the head, causing severe pain in the head, which will gradually get better in about 3-4 days. If the pain gradually worsens after 3-4 days, it is likely that the extraction wound is infected, and you need to go to the hospital in time for a review. If the pain in the lower teeth is getting more and more intense and can be clearly localized, you can also go to the hospital for a routine examination. X-rays of the lower teeth will be taken to determine if there is any obvious decay or pulpitis in the lower teeth. If pulpitis is present, it can be treated routinely 24 hours after the tooth is extracted without affecting the extraction wound. After extraction, if pain occurs, you can take oral pain medication for pain relief, but also oral antibiotics for routine anti-inflammatory treatment to avoid infection of the extraction wound.
