Difference between thin layer ct and enhanced ct

Thin layer CT is actually ordinary CT scan, except that it requires thin layer reconstruction of the image after the scan, generally the layer thickness is below 5mm, so that the lesion can be better detected, or the nature of the lesion can be better judged by observing the size and shape of the lesion and the internal structure. And enhanced CT is based on ordinary CT scan, through intravenous injection of contrast agent, using the different degree of contrast uptake and different degree of enhancement between lesions and surrounding normal tissues to judge the nature of lesions, which is usually used to judge the nature of tumors, or to find tumors in patients suspected of having tumors. So they are two different examination methods.
