Surgery for polyps of the eye, which means surgical treatment of the disease pterygium. The most common surgical procedure is pterygium excision combined with autologous corneal limbal stem cell transplantation, which usually costs around$3,000-4,000, although this cost refers to the treatment of pterygium in both eyes and is relatively low for a single eye. This is a very routine procedure in ophthalmology, and the indications for surgery generally require that the pterygium grow large, such as invading within the black eye, causing corneal astigmatism, or obscuring vision. This disease is prone to recurrence, so to reduce the recurrence rate, autologous conjunctival transplantation or corneal limbal stem cell transplantation should be performed after removal of the pterygium to reduce the chance of recurrence.
