The body relies on what’s in the blood for oxygen delivery

The transport of oxygen in the body depends on hemoglobin in the blood. Oxygen in the blood is transported primarily through hemoglobin, and the binding of oxygen to hemoglobin is very easy and the binding is a reversible process. As blood flows through the lungs, oxygen binds to hemoglobin to form oxygen and hemoglobin, and as blood flows through tissues with low partial pressure of oxygen, oxygen separates from hemoglobin to release oxygen into the tissues. If the concentration of hemoglobin in the body decreases, the body’s ability to transport oxygen will be reduced, which in turn will lead to a series of symptoms of anemia, manifested as decreased physical strength, easy fatigue, pale lips and mucous membranes, and so on. Patients who experience these symptoms or are clearly diagnosed with anemia need to seek medical help to correct the anemia as soon as possible.
